We run ‘Shared Lessons’ or group ski & snowboard lessons for adults and kids in Chamonix. Keep an out for existing groups marked as blue dates in the booking calendar (Maximum group sizes: kids x8, adults x5-6). Or create your own group with ‘Shared Lessons’. We also offer private lessons in Chamonix.

Shared Lessons
Adults ‘Shared Lessons’

Need flexible group lessons that accommodate your schedule? Our ‘Shared Lessons’ are ski and snowboard group sessions available at any time.
How it works:
Get in touch with the sessions you want. Simply book private lessons, and we convert those to group lessons. As additional participants join, you’ll receive a money back, similar to a ride-share! This is a fantastic way to learn alongside others while splitting the costs. Reach out today to kick off your group lessons!

Kids Groups
Duration: 4hrs (from 3 – 5 days)
Our junior group ski lessons in Chamonix are available during the main school holidays, featuring daily 4hour lessons over 3 – 5 days. We can arrange groups ‘on-demand’ and offer flexible options lasting between 3 and 5 days, just let us know your preferences! These lessons are designed for children aged 6 and older. (Please note that we cannot accept participants under 6 in group ski lessons without a prior appointment).
Junior ski groups – 2 levels
Blue Group: Skiers have been on blue runs, but need more development on them. Their skis are in a plough through the turn, and parallel at the end. Those who have skied with Freedom Snowports, or other international ski schools before, may have gained our 3 to 5 star awards in their previous lessons. French ski school equivalent awards are ‘Flocon’ to 1 star. Awards not required to attend, you can read more about the ability levels here.
Blue groups are working towards basic parallel turns on greens and easy blues.
Red Group: These groups tend to be regular visitors to us, and can ski the whole mountain keeping parallel skis through the turns. Those who have skied with Freedom Snowports, or other international ski schools before, may have gained our 6 to 8 star awards in their previous lessons. French ski school equivalent awards are 2 to 3 star. Awards not required to attend, you can read more about the ability levels here.
Red groups are working towards a variety of parallel techniques (carved, long, short) on all pistes.
Academy
Duration: 4hrs (from 3 – 5 days)
Academy – For junior skiers that have progressed through our junior groups. Achieving the top ski awards of 8 or 9 star. Our Academy groups work on the continued development of specialized skills that diversify the sport of skiing. These skills allow us to travel further, safer, and over more varied terrain. Which covers the main strands of skiing. Piste Performance, Steeps, Off Piste, Bumps, and Freestyle.
Skiers will also develop mountain awareness, understanding of safety procedures, and use of safety equipment. All of which go hand in hand with modern skiing. This respect for the environment that we ski in, and the skills we use is so often overlooked. But is the very foundation that keeps us safely enjoying the snow and terrain.
To attend academy sessions in Chamonix, skiers must have previously attended our junior red group.
