We provide group ski and snowboard lessons for kids in February and ‘Shared Lessons’ for adults all season long. Keep an eye out for blue dates in our booking calendar. Group sizes are limited to 8 for kids, and 5-6 for adults. Available in St Gervais, Megeve, and Les Contamines. We also offer private lessons in St Gervais, Megeve, and Les Contamines.

How it works:
Contact us with the sessions you want. Simply book private lessons, and we convert those to group lessons. As more participants join, you get money back; just like a ride-share! It’s a great way to learn with others while sharing the costs. Contact us today to get your group lessons started!

Kids Groups
Duration: 4hrs (from 3 – 5 days)
Our junior group ski lessons take place during February holidays with daily 4hour sessions for 5 days. We can create additional groups based on demand and offer flexible options ranging from 1 to 5 days, so reach out to us for our ‘Shared Lessons’. These lessons, designed for children aged 6 and older, help young skiers gain confidence while having a blast. (Please note: we cannot accommodate children under 6 in group lessons without prior appointment.)
Junior ski groups – 2 levels
Blue Group: Skiers have experienced blue runs, but need more development to ski them well. Their skis are in a plough through the arc of the turn, and parallel at the end. Those who have skied with Freedom Snowports, or other international ski schools, may have gained our 3 to 5 star awards in previous lessons. French ski school equivalent awards are ‘Flocon’ to 1 star. Awards are not required to attend, you can read more about ability levels here.
Blue groups are working towards basic parallel turns on greens and easy blues.
Red Group: These groups tend to be regular visitors to us, and can ski the whole mountain keeping parallel skis through the turns. Those who have skied with Freedom Snowports, or other international ski schools before. May have gained our 6 to 8 star awards in previous lessons. French ski school equivalent awards are 2 to 3 star. Awards are not required to attend, you can read more about ability levels here.
Red groups are working towards a variety of parallel techniques (carved, long, short) on all pistes.
Academy
Duration: 4hrs (from 3 – 5 days)
Academy – For junior skiers that have progressed through our junior groups. Achieving the top ski awards of 8 or 9 star awards. Our Academy groups work on the continued development of specialized skills that diversify our sport. These skills allow us to travel further, safer, and over more varied terrain. Which covers the main strands of skiing. Piste Performance, Steeps, Off Piste, Bumps, and Freestyle.
Skiers will develop mountain awareness and an understanding of safety procedures. Becoming aware of the use of safety equipment. All of which creates a well rounded performer in modern skiing. This respect for the environment that we ski in, and the skills we use is so often overlooked. But it is the fundamental piece that keeps us safely enjoying the mountains.
To attend our academy sessions, skiers must have previously attended our junior red group or a private lessons with us to be sure of suitable level.
