Which is the 13-mile journey down the Valle Blanche glacier and the Mer De Glace. With an unbelievable vertical descent of 2805m, and the worlds highest lift accessed ski descent. Chamonix has six separate ski areas in the valley with more than 115 Km of prepared slopes and trails and 49 lifts. Chamonix is very popular with powder skiers and snowboarders, especially Les Grands Montets.
